VOLUNTEER
Hello to all Churches, Synagogues, and Service Organizations
As you know, our local charities are having a very tough time serving
Tampa Bay in this tough economy. Financial contributions are way down. Many charitable services have had to cut
way back. While, at the same time, demand for their services has
dramatically increased. There are many thousands of families in Tampa
Bay who cannot even afford the basics: housing, food, utilities,
medical care, and the list goes on.
A group of us have created a revolutionary fundraising model – a
continuing series of fun, fabulous, outdoor events, one of which will take place every Saturday at a different location
in Tampa Bay. Each Saturday’s event is expected to raise thousands of dollars for local charities continuously
(every Saturday). Our primary focus for these events is to support those among us who are Homeless
in Tampa Bay. Initially, we will specifically focus on supporting
Homeless Veterans in Tampa Bay. There are thousands of them.
It is our goal to permanently address the homeless problem in Tampa Bay.
To accomplish this, we need to raise a great deal of money continuously,
every Saturday. We believe that we can do this, with your help.
Every Saturday from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM – we expect to raise thousands of dollars. Once this
event is up and running, we may be able to double this amount – and then possibly double
it again. We can raise thousands upon thousands of dollars every single weekend to support our local
charities. The only thing that we need is enough volunteers. So,
we need your help.
This fundraising model will have only one (1) paid employee, who will be
the volunteer recruiter/supervisor. Therefore, each Fabulous Food
Festival will need a total of seventy five (75) volunteers to operate
on any given Saturday. To obtain these seventy five (75) volunteers,
a combination of 2-3 different churches, synagogues, and service
organizations will provide 20-55 volunteers apiece, (only) once a
year. Of course, larger churches and service organizations may
contribute volunteers more often than once a year, if they wish to do so.
Though 99% of event staff will be volunteers, the skill set needed for these
volunteers to function effectively will be easily learned in less than 30 minutes, before each event. And
this skill set should enable each group of 75 volunteers to
raise thousands of dollars every single Saturday. Once this event
series has been up and running for a while (i.e. weeks, not months), then our plan is to
have the Fabulous Food Festivals to run every Saturday AND Sunday, to raise even more money for Tampa Bay
charities. The fundraising potential here is ENORMOUS.
Though we have had success getting a number of churches to commit to
volunteering for a Saturday; we need to substantially scale-up our efforts to recruit many more churches,
synagogues, and service organizations for this series of fundraising events. We hope that your church,
synagogue, or service organization will join us and provide 20-55
volunteers for just one (1) Saturday event, just once a year.
All of Tampa Bay will benefit from your church, synagogue, or service
organization’s commitment to helping those who desperately need
our help.
Our plan is complete. Our event fundraising model is very sound; and
it is easy to execute. The last piece of the puzzle is simply recruiting
enough volunteers on a large enough scale, to fully staff our every-Saturday fundraisng event
series; so that we can raise as much money as possible to support our
local charities.
If you take the time to read about our fundraising model and event
overview carefully, you will be convinced that our goal to raise a
great deal of money for local charities continuously
can actually happen. But it all depends on you. Will you help us?

Thank you.
